Nice to Meet You
Eli Rallo is a NJ based poet, playwright and aspiring producer who is currently a Bachelor Theatre Art (Performing Arts Management) candidate at the University of Michigan (class of 2020). She is also pursuing a minor in creative writing, playwriting and political science. She is the producer of Michigan's student run theatre organization: Rude Mechanicals, a group that specializes in straight plays. She is also the founder of Blank Space Workshop, a playwriting organization specializing in the workshop of early drafts of student works at the University of Michigan.
She is a former producing intern at the MUNY in St. Louis. She spent the summer of 2018 working for the MUNY's 100th season. She is currently an editorial intern with Zoozil, a children's book publishing company.
She is additionally a staff member at the University of Michigan Daily where she is an Arts Writer, a Book Reviewer and the Food Columnist. She has had the pleasure of reviewing pre-released novels and conducting interviews with former Olympians, Tony Award winners, current authors and comedians. In her future she hopes to pursue writing in any capacity she can, as her passion has always lied in the space between the lines.
