FEATURED IN
Eli Rallo is a New York Times bestselling author and content creator who rose to prominence on TikTok in 2020 after sharing her family’s unconventional snack mix she coined “The Jarr.”
Since then, more than 1.5 million people have joined her community for her unfiltered thoughts, ins-and-outs lists, and the big-sister commentary she brings to pop culture, relationships, the quarter-life crisis, and everything in between. She went viral on TikTok in the spring of 2020 and has since grown her platform to over one million followers on TikTok and more than 250,000 on Instagram.
When she isn’t writing or TikToking, you can find her doing Pilates, eating Chipotle, taking long existential walks, or belting out show tunes at piano bars in the Village.
And just like that…

Welcome to Prose Hoes
The book club needed a face lift. Reading is sexy. Books are hot. Literacy is seductive.
'Book-ish girls' and bookworms have always gotten the underdog treatment—depicted as quiet and mousey and serious in pop culture and media. But why can't cracking open a fresh book and a bottle of wine be as satisfying a Friday night as hitting the clubs?
Why can't it be seen as sexy and cool and exciting to stay up all night because a book kept you awake? Why can't you grow your mind like you're encouraged to grow your social circles in your 20s? Why can't you do both?
We intend to bring back the literary salon for those of us who are looking for new friends, fresh stories and new perspectives while reading one dynamic, interesting, diverse book a month (over a glass of wine that has been perfectly paired to said book).
